The Probems We Faced

Low Conversion Rate

In early 2025, Unit Session % was as low as 0.7–0.9%, meaning less than 1 in 100 visitors converted.

Low Buy Box Control

In January–February, the client only owned the Buy Box ~34–37% of the time, losing sales to resellers.

Unoptimized Listings

Titles, bullet points, and backend keywords weren't aligned for SEO or conversions.

Missed Sales Opportunity

Even with 7,000–10,000 monthly sessions, revenue was capped by poor conversion.

Restoring Catalog Integrity & Driving Marketplace Growth

We rebuilt broken parent listings, secured consistent Buy Box ownership, and resolved brand contribution conflicts to restore catalog control. With optimized content and strategic promotions, we elevated visibility, protected pricing, and accelerated sales growth.

Securing the Buy Box

We prioritized removing reseller interference and shifting Buy Box control back to the brand. This gave ownership of pricing, fulfillment, and sales flow.

Rebuilding Catalog Structure

Incorrect reseller-created parent listings were dismantled and rebuilt correctly, making product variations easy to navigate.

 

Listing Optimization & SEO

We overhauled titles, bullet points, and backend keywords, embedding high-value search terms to improve ranking. We also introduced benefit-driven messaging to increase conversions.

By securing Buy Box control and optimizing listings, the client nearly doubled their conversion rate in just a few months. What looked like a small percentage increase had an outsized impact when applied across thousands of monthly sessions.

Improved from 0.7–0.9% in January–February → stabilized at 1.1–1.3% from March onward (a ~2x lift in efficiency).

Buy Box %

Jumped from ~35% to 85–92%, ensuring sales flowed to the brand instead of resellers.

Revenue Impact

April sales hit $17,777, more than double January sales, despite similar traffic levels (~10.7K sessions).

Traffic Efficiency

Even when sessions fell by 50% in August (down to 4,788), sales held steady at $9,267 because the improved conversion rate carried performance.
