FAQ
What You Need to Know Before We Start
At Meliora, we believe smart brands ask smart questions the kind that uncover truth, not hype. This page exists to give you straight, practical answers before we ever talk about contracts, campaigns, or conversions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions every smart brand asks before working with Meliora.
1. When will I become profitable on Amazon?
It takes around 18 months to be profitable on Amazon. Whoever tells you less is either lucky, lying, or skipping steps that will cost you later. Don’t confuse revenue with profitability, they are not the same thing.
Sales are a vanity metric. Profitability comes once your ads, pricing, inventory, and operations are aligned, and that takes time.
Our goal is to make that path as clear and efficient as possible, not to sell you false hope.
2. How long is the commitment?
Our minimum commitment is 6 months, but to see real, measurable results, you should plan for 12–18 months.
The first 3 months are entirely dedicated to research and foundation, deep audits, competitor analysis, positioning, pricing, and system setup. We don’t prioritize launching during this stage, by design. This is where we build the clarity, structure, and strategy your entire Amazon channel will depend on.
It’s not glamorous work, but it’s the difference between guessing and growing. Execution only begins once that groundwork is complete, and rushing it is the fastest way to waste money.
From months 4–6, you’ll start to see traction as optimizations and campaigns go live. By months 12–18, results begin to compound, that’s when profitability starts to show. Your official start date depends on when we receive all assets and access, because quality execution begins with full visibility. If you’re expecting to launch in the first few weeks, we’re not the right fit – but if you want a brand that lasts, this is how we build it.
3. When will I start seeing results?
You’ll begin to see clarity and structural improvements within the first few months, and tangible sales lift usually follows between months 4–6. Profitability tends to emerge between months 12–18, depending on catalog size, margin health, and reinvestment strategy. The key is consistency that brings results and not instant gratification.
4. Why does your process take months instead of weeks?
Because Amazon isn’t plug-and-play. It revolves around research, strategy and execution that takes comprehensive time.
Our phased model is intentional:
- Phase 1: Research & Groundwork that brings clarity before action
- Phase 2: Optimization of listings, content, and structure
- Phase 3: Execution of ads, testing, and scale
Each phase builds on the one before it. Skip one, and you’ll end up rebuilding it later , for twice the cost.
5. Can we skip the audit or jump straight into ads?
No, without finding the errors in already launched campaigns, we can’t proceed further.
Running ads before your listings, pricing, or catalog are ready is like pouring fuel into a leaking tank.We refuse to waste your money chasing symptoms instead of fixing the cause.
Our audit phase ensures every dollar you spend afterward is building something sustainable, not masking problems.
6. Why is Meliora more expensive than other agencies?
Because we’re not built to be cheap, we’re built to be right. Hiring, training, and managing multiple specialists usually costs far more than partnering with one team that’s already aligned, efficient, and built to scale. When you work with Meliora, you’re not outsourcing tasks, you’re securing a senior-led Amazon partnership that operates like your internal team, but sharper, faster, and strategically aligned.
Our work reflects the depth of involvement we bring. We don’t compete on price, we compete on clarity, precision, and performance. If you’re looking for a partner who treats your Amazon channel like their own business, that level of ownership doesn’t come cheap, and it shouldn’t. Brands that choose Meliora aren’t looking for the cheapest option. They’re looking for a partner who thinks like an operator, executes like an owner, and builds something that actually lasts. If you want people who care about your brand as much as you do, that’s exactly what you’re investing in.
Most of our long-term partnerships begin at a premium tier, while project-based work is scoped individually based on goals and complexity.
7. Do you guarantee sales growth?
We guarantee clarity, structure, and progress which automatically bring the sales. We can’t control algorithms, seasonality, or competitor behavior.
But we can ensure your Amazon channel operates efficiently, intentionally, and profitably. That’s what creates consistent, predictable growth and endless sales simultaneously.
8. Can we handle parts in-house and let you do the rest?
Yes, we can handle the parts in-house but we’ll tell you if it limits your results.
Amazon is an ecosystem. Ads, content, operations, and inventory all affect each other. If one area is neglected, it drags down the rest.We collaborate easily with internal teams, but structure and accountability remain our focus.
9. Why do you only work with a few clients at once?
Because real strategy requires focus. We’d rather go deep with a handful of brands and deliver world-class execution than juggle dozens and deliver mediocrity.
This lean model keeps our systems sharp and our attention exactly where it should be. Our main priority is the result oriented service and not the number of clients only.
10. Do you work with startups or only established brands?
We work with both, as long as the basics are there. If you’re a new brand, we’ll evaluate your catalog, margins, and supply chain before anything else.
If those aren’t ready, we’ll tell you honestly. For established brands, we rebuild what’s broken and scale what’s working, without the chaos.
11. Can I just hire someone in-house instead?
You could, but it’ll likely cost 2–3 full-time salaries to match what our team covers.
We bring strategy, structure, creativity, and ads, already trained, already proven, already working together. You’re not paying for learning curves or job descriptions. You’re paying for outcomes.
12. What if we’re not ready yet?
That’s okay, if you are not ready, we communicate to our clients when they need our services. If your margins, catalog, or operations need more groundwork before Amazon can succeed, we’ll outline exactly what to fix first. We’d rather delay a start than take your money before you’re ready. Long-term success beats short-term satisfaction every time.
13. I’ve worked with agencies before and didn’t get results. Why would this be different?
You get results with us because we’re not just another agency. Most agencies jump straight into execution and hope for the best.
We start with clarity and system design , so execution actually means something.
We also keep our roster intentionally small, which means no layers of project managers, no endless waiting, and no recycled templates. Just focus, precision, and accountability.
14. So, why is Meliora Marketing the best to work with?
Because we don’t scale chaos. We fix what matters, optimize with purpose, and build systems that last. We’re not here to promise miracles, we’re here to build better. That’s what Meliora means: always better.
15. What happens after the initial engagement?
That depends on your stage and goals, but we never leave you hanging. For most brands, the first engagement (like Reset or Ascend) builds the foundation, systems, structure, and strategy. Once that’s in place, we typically transition into Sustain (ongoing growth and optimization) or Embed (where Stefania integrates as your fractional Amazon Director).
You can think of it as graduating from building the engine to keeping it tuned and scaling it. The goal isn’t to stay dependent on us forever , it’s to give you a channel that runs efficiently, profitably, and predictably, whether we stay on long-term or help you train your team to take over.
16. How do we get started?
We start by following procedure.
- Fill out the contact form or reach out directly.
- If it looks like a fit, we’ll schedule a discovery call.
- You’ll receive an NDA and onboarding checklist to prepare access and assets.
- Once we have everything, the foundation phase begins, and we take it from there.
